A Full Plate - 1009 N. Bodine St
'Go and eat brunch at A Full Plate' should be #1 on your list of plans this weekend. What you see pictured is their Crabcake benny. Two crabcakes topped with mozzarella cheese and poached eggs. One of the best bennys I've had in quite some time. After much discussion with my fellow benny connesieurs, I've determined that A Full Plate is cheating. The crabcakes alone are a meal in and of themselves. They just decided to slap some poached eggs on top to contend with the Abbaye for the number one position on my super important blog. I'm on to you Full Plate...

New Wave Cafe - 784 S. 3rd St.
This picture of the New Wave benny looks about as traditional as an eggs benedict can get. English muffin, ham, poached eggs and bearnaise sauce (gotcha). Very decent benny. Nothing to get too excited about, but I would definitely have another if I found myself looking for a brunch spot in Queen Village. 3/7th's of the Christian St. ladies dug it. I think you will too.
